Howard is a Civil Engineer passionate in matters spatial planning with over 17 years of experience in design and construction of Roads, 5 of which he has worked in The Road Corridor Management Directorate of The Kenya National Highways Authority. He has interacted first-hand with handling and processing roadside developments, reclaiming encroached road reserves, processing land acquisition for road expansions and evaluating compensation during resettlement action on Highway development contracts.
He is a graduate of Civil Engineering (JKUAT) a Holder of a Master of Laws, in Construction Law, Arbitration and Adjudication and has Studied a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management at Jomo Kenyatta University. He is a Certified PMP with PMI USA, A member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and a Member of The American Society for Quality.
He is a Professional Engineer registered with The Engineers Board of Kenya and a Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers of Kenya and a Member of The Architectural Association of Kenya.
He is a trainer, coach and mentor in Civil Engineering Construction, Contracts and Dispute resolution having trained construction professionals spanning Engineers, Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Lawyers.
