Sierra Hampton-Simmons

Sierra Hampton-Simmons has over two decades of experience as an expert in digital product development and management with a track record for transforming and developing lucrative brands to include relevant performance-based testing and training. She joined PMI in the fall of 2013 and currently serves as the VP, Certifications & Product Architecture. Immediately prior to joining PMI, she was a leader for Global Certifications at Cisco Systems, Inc. where she directed daily operations for a global development team creating leading IT certification programs including the world-class CCNA and CCNP. Sierra began her career working at Citrix Education where she managed a team in design and development of the most advanced curricula and certifications for their global programs. Sierra also served as the President of the Performance Testing Council for three years after being an active member of their Board of Directors. Sierra is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Japanese and International Business. She also attended University of Florida’s MBA program.

With a passion for developing delightful products that are distinct, Sierra is most proud of her work transforming established products with digital innovations including simulations, emulations and animations. At PMI she led innovations that included the evolving the PMP, PMI Study Hall, and the addition of the new Construction Professional in Built Environment Projects (CPBEP) certification program.

Ukhevi J. Samson

Samson Jimmy Ukhevi is a results-driven and visionary Project Manager with experience in spearheading impactful projects focused on women’s empowerment, youth engagement, and climate action in developing countries. He started his project management journey at the University of Nairobi at the Certificate level and is now in his final year of Project Planning and Management.  He is a dedicated advocate for positive change and has successfully coordinated multi-country initiatives, collaborated with diverse stakeholders, and leveraged innovative approaches to drive meaningful transformation.

Samson Led the “Activate A Girl initiative” that provided essential menstrual hygiene products and comprehensive training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to more than 5,000 girls in the informal settlements, enabling their education and overall well-being courtesy of Safaricom Ndoto Zetu Initiatives. He spearheaded the global student network – 2022 Millennium Fellowship program as the Campus Director at the University of Nairobi empowering more than 25 youth leaders to create and implement Social Impact innovative projects addressing several Sustainable Development Goals. Samson was awarded a grant to pilot the Virtual Reality project for children with intellectual disabilities and raise awareness, fostering empathy and inclusivity within communities through the UNDP Disability and Accessible Innovations Challenge.

Currently, Samson is the Project Coordinator at the African Confederation of Co-Operative Savings and Credit Association (ACCOSCA) Coordinating the “Voice for Women and Girls” project that is being implemented across 5 African countries (Kenya, Malawi, Senegal, Ethiopia, Ghana); the project pursues innovative strategies around Gender Equality, Empowerment of Women, Girls, and the marginalized, Inclusive governance, Environment and climate action, and Growth that works for everyone. He has leveraged his expertise in project management to develop, and implement, climate action initiatives, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals; the African Co-operative Climate Action Plan, is one of such initiative he is championing, and he is engaging with national associations, governments, Credit Unions, and local communities to drive sustainable and collective efforts toward climate mitigation and adaptation.

Faith Nashipae

Faith Nashipae is a passionate Gender Equality advocate from Kenya. Her education background is in counseling psychology with a B.A in Project Planning Management from The University of Nairobi. Besides gender and development work, Faith has been very instrumental in above level health systems strengthening Kenya.

Faith is now the Chief Executive Officer of Thriving Communities Africa (TCA). An NGO that advocates for male engagement and inclusion towards sustainable social transformation including ending GBV, promoting gender equality and economic empowerment. Also known as The Men and Boys Ambassador, Faith is passionate about men and boys becoming the best versions of themselves, thereby promoting functional families, social norms transformation and mental well -being for all.

She is the International Men’s Day Kenya coordinator, an international transformational speaker on Men and boys Engagement and Inclusion, mental well being and social sustainable development. The co-chair for Male Engagement and Inclusion,  Gender Sector – Kenya.

She is the brain behind Nitasimama Imara Boys and Men’s Programme among other impactful social strategies in Kenya.

Samuel Mue is an upcoming Social Impact and International Development Consultant with extensive experience in youth leadership, and sustainability seeking to build a sustainable future for all.
